Phil Anastasia: The Outfit – Music Review

I’m not a big fan of Rap music – I really don’t get it but sometimes there is an artist that impresses me that I nearly consider the blanket ban on my MP3 player from including Rap on its memory. “The Colosseum” is a smooth deal with some great rock beats and is even radio edited for all enjoyment.

“Symphonies” is a thumping song that stands upright musically. The lyrics flow like a river with the rock beats propping it up to create a great song all around.

I like songs that include lyrics relating to my childhood – I guess I’m a softy. “Aquii Mando Yo” includes a lot of the aforementioned fun.

There are no bad songs on the album far as I’m concerned. Good stuff all around.

What I like about Anastasia is that he gives up some smooth, strong lyrics that tell a story backed by strong vocals and smooth, rock beats not seen nearly enough within the genre and thusly earns a solid 9 out of 10.
