One Day Left: The Future Can Be Stopped – Music Review

Rap meets Cream! Wow – I thought Linkin Park was broadening the metal/hip-hop scene. One Day Left is looking to roshambeau the LP to the gutter. Only got my hands on a 4 track demo and would enjoy some more (hint guys!). Other names that come to mind are Beastie Boys and P.O.D. Adrenaline fueled fusion Rap/Metal/Hardcore.

Unfortunately with only 4 tracks to listen to I’m limited in my comments. This is most definitely New York bad ass hardcore at its best. Thick licks, trick lyrics and head pounding rhythm. “Free Speech” and “Home” are beyond tight and hot. Perfection personified.

Masterful guitar work can easily be scoped out on “Prophecy” and if tribalistic drumming is your thing then check out “ODL” with haste along with unexpected melodic vocals! Check ‘em out – you won’t be disappointed.

Mosh pits everywhere will rejoice as One Day Left will bring their passion-filled, adrenaline pumping hardcore guitar rifts and beat down lyrics to any spot they play in. It’s a swift 9.5 out of 10. Less of the bad language boys and you got an 11 with a bullet.
