Scotty Austin’s Lucifer’s Rain (The Bad One Is Back)

Are you ready to rock? Well, Scotty Austin is, and he’s really rocking out on his latest single, “Lucifer’s Rain (The Bad One Is Back)”. It’s the second in the re-envisioning of the Stevie B (who now goes by the name BB Stevens – more on that later…) “Lucifer’s Rain” release that came out earlier this year. The first of the re-envisions was recorder by a collective of award wining hip-hop producers and titled “Lucifer’s Rain (The Audio Scientist Laboratory Remix) and that came out toward the end of last May. And from what we’ve been told there are more re-envisions slated for the months to come.

Scotty Austin, as you may or may not know, is the former lead vocalist/front man for the heavy rock band Saving Abel. He was behind the microphone and at the helm for nearly a decade with the group before going their ways. Since going solo, Scotty had a billboard hit with a cover of Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell”, and has been touring the nation nonstop with his own back-up band of music instrument wielding outlaws. “Lucifer’s Rain (The Bad One Is Back)” was released on the Stryker Records label. Here’s a sample of some of the lyrics Mr. Austin and Mr. Stevens collaborated on:

Gather Round Children A Tale I Will Tell

Of Waking One Morning To Lucifer’s Hell

The Rain Was Pouring Harder It Fell

Son Of The Morning, We’re Under His Spell

(Ooh Ka La Ka Cha)

We Woke That Dawn Somewhere Outside

Feeling Half Dead And Barely Alive

Uneasy Gnawing Deep Down Inside

Lucifer’s Rain Had Just Arrived

(Ooh Ka La Ka Cha)

Into Our Mouths The Rain Did Pour

Entered Windows Seeped Under Doors

Madness Runs Can’t Take Anymore

Unabashed Alternate Facts The Bad One Is Back!

Now, as to why the elusive Stevie B changed his name, they only thing we can tell you is what her told us when we asked, “I don’t know, guess the Devil made me do it…”. Check out the video below that they made for the song utilizing actual footage shot this year by Ukrainian soldiers while defending their frontlines of battle.
