NYC-based singer/songwriter, Emily Gabriele, releases a cover of the iconic 90s track, “You Oughta Know” on Friday, July 31, 2020. “You Oughta Know” is EG’s interpretation of Alanis Morrisette’s song originally released in 1995 on her seminal album, Jagged Little Pill.
“You Oughta Know” was produced by LA-based Angelique Calvillo. Calvillo has an array of artistic offerings, including production, singing and songwriting. She specializes in carefully crafting unique takes on songs.
Emily Gabriele releases her rendition of “You Oughta Know”, as an homage to Jagged Little Pill, celebrating its 25th anniversary last month. The track is anthemic, rooted in angst, and a powerful testament to female expression.
