Silent Vigil for Victims of the Pulse Nightclub Shooting

On June 12, 2019, mourners gathered at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, remembering the victims on the third anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting. Members of “Gays Against Guns,” an activist group of LGBTQ people committed to ending gun violence, held a silent vigil, holding up signs with the images and names of the victims. When the names of the victims were read, many of the close to hundred attendants were overcome with emotions.
