Reduce Reuse Resist is a good mix of of themes including chaos, militarism, oppression, revolution and picking up the pieces of said revolution. This rock of rage album kicks off with high energy with is varied tracks. “Jo-C” in particular, has a few quick cut riffs with a mix reminicent of Lead Zeppelin’s “Achilles Last Stand” and a quirky matadors tune –very militaristic, very catchy. The guitar solo at the middle is funk filled that’s very distinct and will make your head rock
“Decision Street” is very melodic with it’s constant guitar strum, with a crash of the harsh vocals that screams “GET THE F*** OUT OF MY YARD”! It’s easily one of the albums favorites.
“Need to Feed” is very inspiring.The beginning starts off with some harsh metal. Then mellows out with some fast cutting riffs. The drums are on point and the vocals, while at times muffles with rage at you, later sits you down and instructs you on the state of the world.
The album’s ebb and flow of sounds mellows out with “Need Change”. Its a great outro and has constant melodic strumming that hammers its message of changing the world through mendings its naughty ways. It’s an interesting choice to wind down the album as it’s preceding songs high energy did the opposite. “September Remembered”, one of my favorites, is hands-down a punk-rock political anthem. Its melodic, inspiring vocals makes you want to chant away and would have equally made another great outro.
Reduce Reuse Resist and is a high paced frenetic, and at times, low-key tracks makes it perfect for punk, metal lovers and for the likes of movies like Crank and Project X. Their sounds are at times eerily reminiscent of Crush 40 with a mix of Fall Out Boy and Green Day. It’s post-revolutionary messages mixes fury, rage, confusion and fun all within its themes of building a neo-america run by party loving ska punks, and garage band xenical online prescription hopefuls. With it’s mix of punk, metal, high energy, high hat beats…something will catch your ear.
