Alfred Music Publishing, the official print music publisher of thousands of popular artists, proudly congratulates the winners of the Teen Choice 2011 Awards, including Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Paramore, and Katy Perry. TC11, the teen-voted awards program that pays homage to the year’s fan-favorites in music, movies, sports, television, fashion, and more, was hosted by The Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco, and held on August 7th at the Gibson Amphitheater.
In the Music Category, pop’s multi-award winning Justin Bieber took top honor of “Choice Male Artist.” Bieber was also named “Choice TV Villain” for his guest-starring role on the CBS show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, in addition to being named “Choice Male Hottie” and “Choice Twit.” Alfred offers the piano, choir, and band sheet music arrangements to Bieber’s hit songs “Baby” and “Born to Be Somebody,” including an original choral medley arrangement featuring most-loved songs from his albums My World and My World 2.0.
The “Choice Rock Group” award went to Tennessee-based alt rock group Paramore. The Multi-Platinum selling rock trio also garnered the award for “Choice Rock Tune” for their hit song “Monster,” which is the second single on the official compilation soundtrack of the summer blockbuster live-action film Transformers: Dark of the Moon – The Album. Alfred offers a variety of Paramore piano/vocal and guitar sheet music collections and arrangements.
The Multi-Platinum, Multi-Grammy® winning power trio Lady Antebellum took the honor for “Choice Country Group.” Alfred now offers over a dozen sheet music editions and arrangements to their acclaimed albums, Lady Antebellum and Need You Now, plus several of their hit singles. The “Choice Male Country Artist” award went to Mulit-Platinum selling recording artist Jason Aldean. Alfred offers the piano/vocal sheet music arrangements to Aldean’s radio hits “My Kind of Party,” “Why,” and “Dirt Road Anthem,” in addition to other favorite Aldean tunes found in several Alfred sheet music collections.
As for the season’s enduring “Choice Musical Artists of the Summer,” the teen-voted honor went to Multi-award winning mega artists Katy Perry and Bruno Mars. Alfred currently offers the officially arranged sheet music single to Mars’ hit singles “Grenade” and “Just the Way You Are.” Alfred has also released the officially arranged piano/vocal songbook to Perry’s album Teenage Dream, among various other songbooks, piano/vocal, band, and choral sheet music arrangements.
