Paris Hilton was arrested on the Las Vegas strip late Friday night after police smelled marijuana coming from the car. But instead of pot, they found a bag of cocaine.
Las Vegas police pulled over the black Cadillac Escalade Hilton, 29, was riding in along with her boyfriend Cy Waits after detecting pot smoke.
According to officers, Hilton then stepped out of the car and accidentally dropped a little baggie of drugs right in front of them.
“Miss Hilton pulled out a tube of lip balm,” said police Sgt. John Sheahan. “At the same time … a bindle of cocaine in a plastic bag came out of her purse.”
Hilton, who asked officers if she could retreat to a nearby casino after a crowd started to gather, was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession. Her boyfriend was arrested on misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The socialite was then released from the county jail without bail.
Strangely, just an hour after her release she updated her Twitter account with a note to fans that she was “in bed watching Family Guy. Love this show.! So hilarious! Stewie is my favorite 🙂 love his accent.”
