British Kickboxer Lee Aldhouse hunted by Thailand police for the assassination of former U.S. Marine Dashawn Longfellow

Detectives in Phuket want to speak to Lee Aldhouse in connection with the fatal stabbing of American tourist Dashawn Longfellow.

The Briton is alleged to have attacked the US Marine after a fight in a bar on the island.

According to local media reports, Aldhouse, 28, had trained in Thai kick-boxing and had lived in the country for several years.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Anukul Nuket said Mr Longfellow’s body was discovered in the early hours of yesterday morning at the Yanui Paradise Resort.

Sources said British officials in Thailand were aware of the warrant for Mr Aldhouse’s arrest.

Aldhouse has lived in Thailand for several years and is known for his strength and fighting ability, according to police.

He had been scheduled to fight former Muay Thai world champion and long term Phuket resident Jomhod Kiatadisak, but pulled out of the fight at the last minute due to injury.

He was reported to have recently been the victim of a hit-and-run accident.
