Icelandic neo-classical artist Ólafur Arnalds has released his second full-length album, …and they have escaped the weight of darkness, on Erased Tapes (Peter Broderick, Nils Frahm). Recently featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered, the album features both the serene “Þú ert sólin” (You are the sun) and the lush, propellant “Tunglið” (Moon), premiered by Stereogum and available for posting.
