Jennifer Aniston has obtained a restraining order against an alleged stalker who was lurking around her home carrying a “sharp object.”
According to court documents, Jason Peyton was found i “laying-in-wait with a sharp object, a bag, a roll of duct tape and written messages” about the Friends star.
Peyton, 24, spent 8 days trying to find her and carved ” I LOVE YOU Jennifer Aniston” into the side of his car.
Peyton was placed on a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold following the arrest and now must stay 100 yards away from Aniston’s home, work and vehicles. He is also forbidden from coming into contact with any of her employees, agents, managers and reps.
The restraining order explains that “Peyton is an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker – with a history of violence and criminal stalking – who drove cross-country in his delusional ‘mission’ to locate and marry (Aniston), with whom he believes he is in a relationship.”
He admitted that he stopped taking antipsychotic drugs in March and believes that he is related to Courteney Cox, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah, Jay-Z, Nelson Mandela and Donald Trump. He has been institutionalized before and has made attempts to stab himself as well as hitting his mother with a golf club. His dad actually alerted police that he thought he was going after Aniston when he found a letter from his son saying he was heading to Los Angeles.
Officers from Los Angeles Police Department’s Threat Management Unit are investigating the case.
