It seems that things are moving in mysterious ways over at Google at the present time. You may already be aware of the current controversy regarding the term “Google Spies”. This became a hugely popular entry on Google after American Radio Host Alex Jones raised concerns about how certain video files of his youtube account were deleted.
Alex Jones encouraged his supporters to fight back against Google censorship by using the term “Google Spies” in its search engine. As you might expect the term then soared to the top of the “Trends” chart, according to an article by Steve Watson over on Prison Planet.
This of course was pounced on by journalists and bloggers but then something strange happened. Instead of the expected flood of news stories on “Google Spies”, nothing came of it and the term was mysteriously removed by Google. Other terms such as “Fall of the Republic,” “The Obama Deception,” and “Google Censorship,” were all removed in the past few days, all of which had been widely searched for.
It seems this Infowar is set to run though as the article over on Prison Planet now urges its readers to search Google for “Google Launches Cover Up.” The story ends with a list of previous articles on Prison Planet which detail how it feels Google is tied to U.S. government intelligence and tells of how it also believes there is a concerted push against the open internet.
