Charlie Sheen likely to serve jail time in Aspen

People.com and TMZ are reporting that Charlie Sheen will likely to be sentenced to 30 days in jail as part of a plea deal.

TMZ says Sheen will go to Aspen on Monday — when his next hearing is scheduled to take place — and will enter a no-contest plea to third-degree assault and immediately begin serving time. The felony menacing charge against him will be dismissed.

Sheen will be sentenced to 30 days, but with good time credit it will be cut to 17 days, and two of the 17 days will be minimal. People.com says he’ll probably serve “15 or so” days. Once he completes his jail stint, he’ll be a free man — no probation.
