The expanded edition of the record that landed the band on the Best of 2009 lists of NPR, Pitchfork, Time Out New York, The New York Post, Stereogum and more, will feature brand new artwork and three bonus tracks: vivid, bare bones “Stripped Down” versions of the original album’s “Sleepyhead” and “Moth’s Wings,” and the cover of the Cranberries’ “Dreams” that’s become a highlight of recent Passion Pit live shows.

Passion Pit was conceived as a solo project by Michael Angelakos, who recorded the bulk of the band’s 2008 debut EP Chunk Of Change (frenchkiss) while attending Boston’s Emerson College. The band—which currently consists of Angelakos, Ian Hultquist, Ayad Al Adhamy, Nate Donmoyer and Jeff Apruzzese–released its first full length album, Manners, in May 2009. Critical and popular reaction to Manners has been uniformly ecstatic, ranging from raves in Rolling Stone, US Weekly, New York and many more to a #51 debut on the Billboard Top 200 albums.
