Actor Jim Carrey has announced on his twitter page that he has become a grandfather for the first time on monday.
The baby was born to Carrey’s 22-year-old daughter Jane Erin Carrey, who he had with his first wife Melissa Womer. Womer and Carrey divorced in 1995. Carrey later married his “Dumb and Dumber” co-star Lauren Holly. They divorced less than a year later.
This was Jane Erin’s first child. Her husband is rocker Alex Santana, who performs in the band Blood Money under the stage name Nitro.
