BRANDON BEE BUZZ HITS CHRISTIAN MUSICIAN SUMMIT. Critically Acclaimed Debut Artist Recently Performed on Popular Event’s Main Stage

Seattle singer/songwriter, producer and worship leader Brandon Bee recently performed on the Main Stage at the Christian Musician Summit at Overlake in Seattle, Wash. Bee appeared onstage along with Brenton Brown and Newworldson; other performers at the two-day event were Lincoln Brewster, Matt Redman, Paul Baloche and Laura Story.

Produced by CMS Productions, the Christian Musician Summit at Overlake took place at Overlake Christian Church, the largest church campus in the state of Washington. One of the most well attended music training seminars in the world, the Christian Musician Summit is a conference for worship leaders, musicians, technicians, pastors, songwriters, and independent artists to improve skills and inspire talent. It is a time for musicians and technicians of all levels to learn, network and fellowship; every year the summit features some of the best musicians in the industry as clinicians and performers.

“What we like about Brandon is that not only is he a talented young artist who is beginning to break nationally, but he is also a very talented producer from our Seattle area,” commented CMS Productions founder and producer Bruce Adolph. “I have visited him in the studio and I like his work.”

Bee recently unveiled his debut project, This Is The Revolution, on Save the City Records. The CD has already been garnering critical acclaim from media outlets such as iTunes, Christian Musician Magazine, CCMMagazine.com and Christianitytoday.com.

“One of the more striking debut efforts in recent memory, Bee firmly establishes the artistic reputation that his previous production work only hinted at with This Is The Revolution,” says Christian Musician Magazine.

iTunes comments, “Best known as a Christian music producer, Brandon Bee steps out as a singer/songwriter on 2009’s thoroughly likable This Is The Revolution…Bee is vivid and convincing.”

Bee first came to the attention of the production world under the mentorship of producer Lou Carto (Randy Travis, B.B. King) and Dove Award-nominated Christian artist/producer Morgan Cryar. After moving back to the Northwest from Nashville, Bee began producing bands in Seattle’s growing Christian music scene and traveling to Nashville, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Canada to produce artists including Amber Pacific, Jaime Jamgochian, Juno Award nominee/Island Award winner Matthew James and GRAMMY Award nominee/Dove Award winner Stacie Orrico.

In addition, his behind-the-scenes talents have brought him to the attention of many of the music industry’s top companies, including Geffen Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group, who have tapped him for development work.

Bee, a sought-after worship leader at churches and conferences across the country, is part of a new generation of worship leaders that has been influenced by the music of Switchfoot, U2 and Coldplay, yet still honors the devotional spirit of the Integrity, Vineyard and Maranatha music of decades past. He deftly blends old and new on his debut project. Vintage drum sounds are juxtaposed with sumptuous modern guitars; pop melodies and lush vocals are fused with indie rock sensibilities. The result is a wonderfully rich and textured sound.

Mixed by Todd Robbins (Little Big Town, dc Talk, tobyMac), This Is The Revolution features Luke Stillar from BEC Recordings worship band Telecast on guitars and Dango (Amber Pacific, Tommy Walker) and Aaron Mlasko (drum tech for Pearl Jam, Tori Amos, The Wallflowers) on drums.

Brandon Bee’s This Is The Revolution is available on Save the City Records, a division of Rain On Me Productions, LLC. For more information on Brandon Bee and his new album, This Is The Revolution, visit brandonbeemusic.com or savethecityrecords.com.
