The body of DJ AM has been released to a funeral home. The celebrity disc jockey – real name Adam Goldstein – is expected to be buried in California later this week, celebrity news website TMZ.
He was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Friday after suffering a suspected drugs overdose. An autopsy carried out on the 36-year-old’s body was inconclusive – and toxicology tests will be needed before a cause of death can be determined, officials said. Police found a bag of crack cocaine, a crack pipe and prescription pills strewn near his body.
