Major Tour Set For Summer. NYC CANAL ROOM 7/10 Tim Brantley

Rocker Tim Brantley’s new single ‘The Race’ has debuted at an impressive #2 Most-Added at AAA indicator stations, trailing only Ben Harper – according to industry trade Radio and Records.

It’s the latest in a wave of strong news for the Atlanta-based singer: His smash single ‘Damage’ was featured on an episode of MTV’s The Hills earlier this month; Recent reviews have compared Brantley’s debut CD ‘Goldtop Heights’ to early Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Hall and Oates, Billy Joel and Warren Zevon.

Performing Songwriter Magazine described his live show as “awesome,” and will
review the album in their June issue. Other reviewers have raved as well: “His songs sound like new classics…” Brantley’s music “plays like a great lost album from 1975.”

The Asbury Park Press praised: Georgia-based rocker Tim Brantley took his time making Goldtop Heights, and the result is a strong debut album that sticks with you after one listen. What really stands out (in a very good way) is the prominent,
fluid piano playing, and there is no shortage of dynamics, either.

Brantley is a throwback to an era when musicians used distinct images and dynamic production to tell cinematic stories. His music takes listeners on a rock journey that evokes radio hits of the 1970s, when Todd Rundgren, Billy Joel, Journey and Fleetwood Mac were topping the charts with larger-than-life songs that told surprisingly compelling personal narratives.
