Fresh off a trio of tours with Gavin DeGraw, Brandi Carlile, and two-time Grammy winner Adele and Brett Dennen, 21-year-old sensation Angel Taylor has returned to the road for a six week run in support of Kate Voegele.
Love Travels, Taylor ’s Aware/Columbia Records debut, was released digitally March 31, and critics are already piling on the praise. Tabbed as one of Billboard’s “15 Artists to Watch in 2009” and one of this year’s “6 Who’ll Sizzle” by The New York Post, People magazine praises Angel Taylor with three out of four stars, hailing, “Fresh and honeydew-sweet, this 21 year-old singer-songwriter comes on like a burst of springtime on her full-length debut. Lead single “Make Me Believe” is currently making an impact at radio, and iTunes tagged it as their single of the week to coincide with the album’s release. Produced by Mikal Blue [Colbie Caillat], the album shows the singer-songwriter quick to share stories about her inspirations, but those stories fast become secondary to the true magic of her talent as a songwriter.
