World’s top pros, thousands of aspiring amateurs will meet face-to-face to crown the winners in competitive Halo 3 and Gears of War

Major League Gaming (MLG), the professional video game league, is kicking off the 2009 season at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus April 3-5. Coming off a sizzling 2008 season that crowned Str8 Rippin National Champions and put the team on over 175 million bottles of Dr Pepper, Major League Gaming Nation is chomping at the bit to see who’s been practicing and who’s been slacking — and where the latest surprise talent will come from this season.
Top pros, aspiring competitors and thousands of fans will come together for three days of intense competition and entertainment; $70,000 is at stake in the Meadowlands and over $1 million in cash and prizes will be awarded over the course of the full season.
