BACARDI(R) today announced the line-up, dates and cities for the BACARDI(R) B-LIVE(TM), 2009 summer music events. These events will take BACARDI B-LIVE, an innovative global concert series that embraces diverse artists, to cities across the U.S. beginning May 20. It will present performances and collaborations from some of the hottest musical acts and DJs of today.
Presenting an exciting line-up, including: Toronto based duo, MSTRKRFT; Fool’s Gold label head and Kanye West DJ, A-Trak; infamous DJ best known for his early career with Will Smith, DJ Jazzy Jeff; the exciting collaboration of Major Lazer featuring Diplo and Switch; Montreal-born DJ and producer, Tiga; New York based dance music producer and remixer, DJ Steve Porter; LA based producer and legendary DJ party rocker, Z-Trip; punk/dance duo from Brooklyn, New York, Matt and Kim; renowned hip-hop artist and singer; Q-Tip; and special guest known for her genre-blending style, Santigold.

Attendees (21+) will have the opportunity to sample custom-made BACARDI rum cocktails at the BACARDI Bespoke Bar. This premium bar allows for attendees to sample and create their own cocktails with the help of a talented mixologist. These unique and personalized cocktails are made using the freshest ingredients, fruits and flavor combinations.
BACARDI B-LIVE will feature a memorable stage and lighting experience that complements the overall theme of the events. Designed by multimedia environment company, Moment Factory, an old-school boom box will illuminate the room and serve as a backdrop for performing music acts. Adding to the visual appeal, renowned illustrators and designers have produced limited edition posters and silk-screen t-shirt designs to create an experience that lives on with attendees long after the event.
A program of music events that has toured 25 countries, BACARDI B-LIVE showcases both international and emerging artists. It provides them with a collaborative environment and rousing audio and visual experiences that are designed to promote spontaneity through adult audience participation.
