Akron-based rockers LA Knights are charging full-force, honorably wearing the “cock rock” badge in the sweaty, solid Psychoanalyze. Kicking off the train ride is the surging “Devil On My Heels.” Not disappointing and certainly not boring, this fire-fueled track features a sinfully melodic guitar stretch.
What I liked most about this track, as well as the follow-up “Dance” are the underlying bad-boy references and ribcage shaking percussions. It’s one thing to band your head, it’s another thing to the emerge yourself in the shredding. Watch out, you might need stitches.
The title track has the right amount of layers that stack up to an interesting and vigorous song. The vein that these songs drip from will melt your face.
Raise your chalices – the LA Knights have a victory.
