John Perkins, who wrote the book, Confessions of an Economic Hitman in 2004, a NY Times Best seller, joined a group on Saturday in NYC urging the president to release information regarding the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks upon the United States, H. RES 14 aims to declassify and release 28 pages that were redacted (or actually excised, according to Rep. Steven Lynch) from the “Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001”, which is an 860 page report written in 2002, prior to the formation of the 9/11 Commission. Former Senator Robert Graham, (D-FL), who was chair of the Joint Inquiry, has been demanding its release since 2003, including FOIA requests to the Obama administration — all to no avail. A group of 9/11 families filed suit in hopes that its contents would be revealed. Now in the wake of this action in Congress, they have filed an amended complaint. This law suit will benefit greatly from the release of the 28 pages.
Moderated by Tom Kiely of alternative news INN World Report and also by Les Jamieson of A&E911Truth.org, Tom made mention of the fact that Bill O Reily on FOX News wants the 28 pages released, “It doesn’t get anymore mainstream than that”, Tom said.
Referring to his mentor, Daniele Ganser from Switzerland, who in 2004 published the book, NATO’s Secret Armies: Ganser states that Gladio units were in close cooperation with NATO and the CIA and that Gladio in Italy was responsible for terrorist attacks against the Italian civilian population. The 2 chief arguments the de-bunkers of 911 truth like to use is #1, “Western Democracy would never do something like that to it’s own people, that’s wrong”, Tom said. Tom gave the example of the Italian Gladio branch who murdered hundred of Italians under false flag operations to blame it on the communists”. #2, “Even if something like that happened it couldn’t be kept secret for so long” then referred to the Gladio operations being kept secret for 45 years.
Tom then referred to 2 Professors, one from Princeton, Martin Gilens and one from Northwestern, Benjamin Page, “Through their research empirically, beyond any shadow of a doubt, “Our country is being run as an Oligarchy now”. Greek word, Ruled by the few.
Barbara Honegger, another speaker, is a writer and producer, known for Behind the Smoke Curtain: What Happened at the Pentagon on 9/11, and What Didn’t, and Why It Matters (2013), Cover Up: Behind the Iran Contra Affair (1988) and Zero: An Investigation Into 9/11 (2008).
Barbara spoke about Anthrax attacks and how they relate to 9/11. She mentioned Ricky DeSantis who spoke at last years 9/11 event who was given skin Anthrax after the event. She had a slide show with a slide reading; Head of FBI’s investigation has as much as said in Official court Filings that the real Anthrax killer(s) was not Bruce Ivins and are still at large.
Richard Lampert, Barbara told the crowd, the head of the FBI’s own Anthrax Investigation, in a slide it read; His FBI superiors kept Key findings by the FBI’s OWN Lab from the investigation, including the fact that DNA had been found on the Sen Leahy envelope and the results of the DNA analysis= The identity of the Anthrax mailer.
-There is no evidence Ivins mailed the letters.
-FBI railroading Ivins prosecution and withholding of key exculpatory evidence that could prove he couldn’t have done it.
Investigative Journalist Wayne Madsen of the Madsen Report, also spoke. 
Wayne said he heard on the radio on the day of 9/11 being referred to as Patriot Day. He said they should call it Truth Telling Day. Wayne also referred to what Gandhi said, First they Ignore you, then they laugh at you, Referring to people who question the “official” story Truthers and Conspiracy Nuts, then they attack you, they fight you then you win. Wayne thinks with the issue of the releasing of the 28 pages we can “run our celebratory lap, I think we will have won and more victories will come”.
Wayne Madsen then went on to talk about David Petraeus, who now works for KKR in NYC, who said the U.S. should ally itself with Al-Qaeda to fight the Islamic State. “There is not a dam difference between the Islamic State and AL Qaeda”, Wayne stated that maybe David Petraeus didn’t figure that out when he worked for the CIA. “He should know because he actually incubated bot of the groups when he was in charge of training Iraqi forces. He trained Sunni, he trained Wahhabis forces who were funded by Saudi Arabia”.
The former Economic Hitman, John Perkins spoke next who’s book Confessions of an Economic Hitman hit the NY Times best seller list for years, said “I obviously don’t believe the official story”, that he didn’t know who was responsible for the attacks of September 11th 2001, but who ever it was, “What I Do know, is they accomplished what we were told Osama Bin Laden wanted to accomplish. Who’s ever behind those tragic events they sent the U.S reeling into a nightmare of torture, assassinations and wars, into an economy that has turned millionaires into billionaires, that has made the rich very very much richer and 95% of Americans, the rest of us, poorer statistically.”
JP mentioned Dwight D. Eisenhower’s warning of the Military Industrial Complex that “became a reality”. It became what John Perkins calls, “the Corporatocracy, is so imbedded in the American system that it consumes more resources than all our education and health care and other social services that are badly needed”.
“The Modern U.S. Military doesn’t win wars, we haven’t won one since WW11, yet it’s highly successful at causing global resentment and ever expanding violence both abroad and at home And it generates Huge profits for Big business”.
