All Is Bright (2013) – Movie Review

20140203_0953Director: Phil Morrison
Writer: Melissa James Gibson
Studio: Touchy Feely Films
Genre: Comedy, Drama
Rating: R
Runtime: 1 hour 47 minutes

Another super depressing movie with Paul Rudd now playing a Quebec christmas tree selling salesmen in Brooklyn and his partner selling trees is a convict who his wife told their daughter that he died of a no name cancer that really made it sound bland and boring and Paul Rudd dude is her new lover which is weird because they don’t really explain how that happen…just left it to your own imagination. But yeah so he sneaks him across the border to sell trees. The custom agent was easily conned by Paul Rudd’s character because the port of entry they used must be very slow to a point where pretty much why do they even have an office there.  They bitch and moan and steal and pretty much have a shitty time selling trees and threatening people to buy the trees.

I don’t know Paul Rudd lately his indy movies have been pretty damn gloomy and depressing and feels like why did they spend this much money for a film. But he does pull off being a Quebec person pretty well haha.
