Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may be an item in our minds—and in August Rob did reportedly confirm their romance—but it’s now being said that the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar will make the Robsten thing official.
On August 20, Robert and Kristen did a “tell-all interview” and photo shoot for the fashion and lifestyle magazine, according to the L.A. Times via InTouch. A Harper’s employee was quoted saying, “Rob and Kristen were relatively open about their relationship.” The December issue of Bazaar releases in November, which would make sense considering the release of New Moon, the first Twilight sequel, is scheduled for November 20.
Some reports have suggested that Rob is sick of the obsession over is-he-or-isn’t-he dating Kristen Stewart, so much that he’s throwing darts at the Bazaar cover. Other accounts reassure us that he uses a lot of magazine images of himself simply for “target practice,” that he invites his co-stars to shoot with him and that he’s not irritated with the romance coverage in particular. However one source has quoted Robert saying that indeed the sudden stardom has not been the best for his mental health. Here’s what he says about leaving it all behind:
I was getting really paranoid [about the media craze]. But then I realized that if tomorrow I say, ‘OK, I’ve had enough we’re stopping everything,’ it won’t change anything. Might as well try to accept it and stay Zen as I have no control over it. It’s not always easy. But whining won’t change anything.
Robert, you have no control over our obsession with you, and neither do we. But one thing we guarantee is that we’ll be grabbing that issue of Bazaar as soon as we smell that sexy British beau of Kristen Stewart on the shelves.
