Weaver At The Loom: I Was Searching And I Found - Indie Music Review

I Was Searching And I Found, is a reflective EP that makes
one ponder if he/she were listening to independent artist.
Our band, Weaver at the Loom provides a breath of fresh air
in a musical genre that prefers to leans on conformity and
gimmicky notions. Our young artist bring a new
introspective look on life and the undertaking of its
challenges.
The album kicks off with Buck Up, They're Coming, a fresh
sound that sets the tone of this immersing short album.
A piano softly plays a beautiful melody that connects with our
percussions; a guitar calmly looms its head to accompanies
the two instruments. Slowly the tension increases and so
does our anticipation, and then, the soft voices of our
vocalists invite us to stay and witness their finesse.
It all translates into a
rhythmic tonal pattern that leaves
us in awe. The short album intertwines through more
acoustic stimulation with hits such as: You can't Escape
Them and You Can't Evade Them. They work well and
compliment each other with their corresponding themes of
overcoming the obstacles life throw at us. The EP ends
with a well-crafted piece that is perhaps some of the best
songwriting I've heard in a long time.
"I was Searching And I Found" by Weaver At The Loom is a
gem of an album that rarely gets discovered. When you have
to keep reminding yourself that you're listening to
independent artists, you know you have a great album on
your hands. They are able to produce such an immersing sound
combined with soft, lucid vocals that scream originality.
After listening to their EP, it is hard to deny that they
can compete with the likes of Coldplay and other mainstream
bands. With a few more songs under their belt they will
have a critically acclaimed album that will launch them
into mainstream stardom.
