This well-mixed album is packed with talent showcased through mature songwriting, catchy melodies and clever harmonies. The Michael David Project gives you a bit of everything with their upbeat experimental vocals in "Cancun Rain" and melancholy-filled lyrics in "Blind." This band captures something that has been missing from the genre with their interesting yet completely legitimate sound. The guitar solos and singing in "Bender" make it one of the album's best tracks. The sound is unified with both male and female back-up vocals creating the perfect soothing harmony to complement the album's edgy lyrics. This album is definitely worth checking out and I'm betting the live show wouldn't disappoint either.
