Worldclass: World Class - Indie Music Review

This album was mediocre in a lot of respects-at times I felt as
though I was listening to a band straight out of high school only the
front man had a deeper voice. The chord progressions are standard of
the rock genre and the transitions were somewhat choppy and
disjointed. The only saving grace was the second track "Etcetera," in
which the vocals and instrumentals flowed smoother and the song
offered a little something more with lyrics. Overall, the album's
lyrics are a bit amateur and are unable to illustrate maturity,
remaining generic and something we have all heard before. I will give
the band credit for experimenting with more of a sonic sound in "What
You Want" as the daring attempt almost works despite its ever-present
basic guitar sequences. Perhaps if the band takes their desire to
experiment, runs with it and builds on the complexity of their sound,
they may be a worthwhile listen-for now, I'll pass.
