Margo Guryan provided me with only two songs and I'm confused as all hell.

The first one reminds me of that chick who used the 'do do do do' of the I Dream of Jeanie theme song for the chorus, only without the fun nostaglia twist.

The second one is completely different and the vocals have a 1960's girl group nostalgic twist.

Two songs is not enough to make an accurate opinion on, especially two songs that leave me with two completely different emotions.

I'm really on the fence here, Margo but my advice is to keep going with the 'Yes I Am' vein.
