MySpace.com Community Launched To Find Wet N Wild Female Models

Markwins Corporation, in conjunction with its best-selling brand wet n wild, is partnering with Seventeen Magazine and MySpace.com, to launch a search for a young woman who will become the brand ambassador and model for the 2007 advertising campaign for their new line of skincare products, wet n wild Fresh Face.
The June issue of Seventeen Magazine will feature the first of several articles that detail the search and offer info on how to enter. Simultaneously, MySpace.com will launch a new community at www.myspace.com/wnwfreshface where you can go to upload a digital image and write a short bio about yourself or the person you are entering. Also, look for the wet n wild Airstream at events throughout the US this summer, where, using wireless internet technology, photos and bios can be uploaded on location.
Each month for 4 months, the entrants will be voted on by the MySpace community and the top 10 from each period will be automatically entered in the final top 40. Once the top 40 finalists have been chosen, they will again be voted on by the community at MySpace.com to determine the 3 finalists. One of these 3 girls will become the new Fresh Face based on a weighted average of the MySpace community votes and the votes of a panel of beauty and lifestyle experts.
Currently, two beautiful young women appear in the wet n wild Fresh Face advertisements. Valida Carroll is one of the most sought after DJ's in Los Angeles whose dedication to music has allowed her to transcend gender stereotypes. Mary Osborne is a professional surfer in Southern California, who also spends time speaking to young women about self-confidence and body-image.
