Jessica Simpson's sexy bikini-clad video remake of "These Boots Are Made For Walking" has a conservative group called
The Resistance all hot and bothered.
In the video, the bikini-clad reality TV star cavorts in a skimpy bathing suit as she washes her automobile co-star in
film, the famous "General Lee" from the original TV series from the 1970s.
The singer is also seen in the same bikini in a promotional trailer for "The 'Dukes Of Hazzard" movie.
"She's a singing stripper," a spokesman named John Connor said on the group's Web site,

"It's disappointing to have Jessica, a pastor's daughter and Christian role model, join the ranks of the 'singing
strippers' such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera" explained Connor in a press release.
"She has one of the most beautiful voices, and is a very beautiful girl," said Connor. "But it's sad to see her whore
her self out like this. What's worse is that pastor Joe Simpson is Jessica's manager, as well as her father."
Connor wants an apology issued by the Simpsons and the video edited to take out the racy segments. He's also urging
viewers to call MTV and ask it to stop playing the video.
"She took a classic like the Dukes of Hazzard, and Daisy Duke, and turned her into a slutty, stripper with a fetish for
old men." said Conner.
