Indie Musicians Get Their Orders

Chrome Peeler Records head, Jason Ziemniak, thought that it
would be a good idea to put out these compilations called "You've Got
Your Orders Vol. 1 and 2" where he gives musicians song titles and
they write and perform the songs. Apparently the cream of the crop of the
alternative underground agreed with him.
"You've Got Your Orders Vol. 1" features songs from Thurston Moore
(Sonic Youth), Mark Arm (Mudhoney), Mike Watt (Minutemen, Firehose),
Johnette Napolitano (Concrete Blonde), Neil Fallon (Clutch), Aaron Turner
(Isis, House of Low Culture), Bluebird, Nels Cline (Wilco), Mike Gent
(the Figgs, the Gentlemen), Bliss Blood (Pain Teens), Erik Larson
(Alabama Thunderpussy), Beehive & the Barracudas, Twink, Weasel Walter (the
Flying Luttenbachers), IDX1274, Betty's Trash, Godstomper, Hella, Jed
Parish (Gravel Pit), Greg (Brainoil, Lemur Mutation), and Chris Crude
(Pg.99, Mannequin). Only 997 copies made.
The participants of Vol. 2 are: Jesse Hughes (the Eagles of Death
Metal), Nikki Sudden (Swell Maps/Jacobites), Silver Apples, John Easdale
(Dramarama), Brant Bjork (Kyuss, Fu Manchu), Blues Goblin (Sam Coomes from
Quasi), Paradise Island (Jenny from Erase Errata), Stephen Brodsky
(Cave In), Steve Mackay (the Stooges), Nathan Larson (Shudder To Think),
Amps For Christ (Man Is The Bastard), Black Lipstick, Eddie Angel (Los
