Phunk Lovers Unite!

Da Phatfunk Clique kicks off 2005 with a Manhattan insurgence. Several venues will be completely funkdafied with the funk/jazz sounds of the four person group; Da Phatfunk Clique. Their sound is unique as the violin is the lead instrument. The resulting vibe has been described as an amalgamation of Mahavishnu Orchestra and George Clinton's P-Funk. True to form, these are among the group's influences as are artists such as Meshell NDegeOcello, Herbie Hancock, George Duke and Noel Pointer. The Manhattan insurgence will encompass both live as well as cable aired performances:
