HeistClick: How Ya Livin - Music Review

A little props to Marley in the song "High Noon" which began oddly enough as I was under the impression HeistClick was HipHop and Rap but what I heard was some strong rock/hair metal singing and the genre busting instrumentals kept thru the entire song proving that Rap and Rock can still merge.
The title track, "How Ya Feelin" fell short with me. It sounded like they just phoned it in. The music wasn't really up to par and the female vocals could have been left off completely and no one would know or care.
"Last Rites" is a track speaking of the violence in the cities and losing your friends and is an incredibly constructed song that I liked. I always say you don't need vulgarity in music – and you don't. This is the case here though I can see how it can (and does) emphasize the lyrical content.
HesitClick has what it takes to only go up. If you're a fan of Hip Hop and Rap with some rock and R&B elements then I highly encourage you to check them out. 9 out of time is earned by ‘em.
