Jamie T: Panic Prevention - Music Review

Jamie T is energetic, has a good ear for brilliantly mixing of rap and reggae with a bit of hip hop, a little bit of rock, a little but of punk, and modern instrumentals that in some way manages to form something that is very pleasant on the ears. These songs are refreshing with unexpected, like in "Calm Down Dearest" (with a pop music, lightened and emotional chorus that almost sound like Maroon 5). Jamie T tells a story, and his voice is loud and clear with each verse. When juxtaposed on the track against a sort of alternative rock and hip hop, it all fuses into a very nice sound that makes for an animated record perfectly appropriate for youthful listeners.
