Another Day Late: News Said It's Raining In New York - Music Review

This group is very, very radio-ready. Their alternative rock music is catchy, and fits right into the ever so popular alternative rock genre settled in the hearts of high school students across America.
At first listen, their music doesn't sound especially original with songs like "Play One" and "Greetings From Nowhere". Then "Easy Alone" stands out, refreshing with a danceable, videogame-like electric guitar, dramatic verses and lyrics which eventually speed up in tempo to give you the sense of the singer's building emotions, all adding up to an overall exciting and impulsive song. "Scenes From an Airport Bar" is just as memorable as the other songs on the album, yet it also manages to nicely convey the notable vocal talents of the leading singer, Kohl Hegmann, as his voice steadily rises above the quick instrumental work.
Another Day Late definitely has a place in the current indie, and popular, music scene. Hopefully this band will give us more music in the future, and that which seems only to fleetingly affect the listener now might eventually continue to haunt us with electrifying music and powerful vocals.
