Pillbox Remedy: Wasted Memories - Music Review

Like many modern day poser punk rockers, these guys suffer from the same problem: the inability to write meaningful, punk worthy songs. Punk bands used to stand for something, like anarchy or overthrowing the government, but now boys head them with smooth, icy voices instead of men with beliefs shouting in raw, fiery accents.
Pillbox Remedy tried to create a punk sound, which they almost succeeded if not for that horribly loud drum or that non-existent bass. There are promising parts, which mainly consist of these guys playing in a fast pace, that's about it, but at least they got something right.
Parts of the albums sound discordant, as if the band had been under rehearsed. What's worse is that the lead singer sang with a confidence as if they are big shots, or actually good. They need to hire a capable bass player, lower the drum volume, and write better lyrics. Also, the songs that fade out, they are annoying to the extreme, can't they think of some way to end their shitty little songs?
