This Orlando-based rock band has something a lot of bands don't-the ability to make the record sound like you're at a live show. The heavy guitar progressions and stability of the drums spike a hard rock sound that supports the mature lyrics and catchy melodies. Even the lead vocals, which at first listen seem a bit different for a heavy rock band, fit perfectly into the overall unified sound. The drums keep the tracks interesting and mobile, drawing you into the entire album. You can't help but tap your foot along to the beat as Berman creates a familiar, but unique rock vibe. You can tell this band takes its music seriously with the intelligent and well thought-out dynamics that emphasize both the voice and instrumentals. I would definitely check out a live show, although the album itself proves worthy.
