“Melanie” who was in the “pen” at 56th and 5th on Saturday November 19th told me why she was there. She had a conversation with a passerby about Jeff Sessions. The passerby praised Sessions for doing his job by prosecuting the head of the Alabama Klan for murdering a 15 year old black boy. “Melanie told the white male passerby, “Just because you do your job prosecuting someone for murder doesn’t mean he’s not racist. This is a man who, in the Reagan White House, was rejected by a Republican Congress for being too racists. He was a up for a Federal seat on the bench and he was rejected because in 1986, under the Reagan Administration he was too racists. This is someone who called a white civl rights lawyer a Disgrace to his Race, he’s someone who regularly calls black people ‘boy,'” “Melanie” also told me that a non partisan group did a fact check for the Presidential candidates and they found that TRUMP TELLS THE TRUTH 8% OF THE TIME and the rest of the time he’s partly lying, kind of close to the truth but, most of the time it was completely false”.

It is no secret that Donald Trump is a known Bigot, Islamophob, Sexist, Misogynist and Idiot. The other day he added a known Racist and Anti Semitic Steve Bannon to his cabinet. These two along with this system are threats to our everyday lives.

If your eyes were not open before, they need to be opened now. No more sitting complacent on the sidelines. Come out and Bring all your friends and your family out to take to the streets and inconvenience those who support Trump and Bannon. But also, show the World that New York DOES NOT Support these two. Run them out of Office. SHUT THEM DOWN!!

Reminder: Do Not Silence The Voices and Actions of People of Color during these Actions. Lift your Voices with Them and Act Out With Them. Oppression and Racism Did Not Just Come into Existence during the Election, it’s been around for centuries and it needs to be Stopped NOW!! You may be tired of hearing about it, buy remember that People of Color have been Living It Everyday of their Lives.

This one group of protestors were supposed to meet up at Union Square but, the Christmas market had occupied all the space around Union Square park so they made their way up to Trump Tower 5th Ave and 57th Street expressing their views about the election of the new president.

Not the first person to liken the election to the power amassed by the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler. A teacher in the SF Bay area was suspended for comparing Trump to Hitler http://www.breitbart.com/california/2016/11/15/hitler-teacher-suspended-for-comparing-trump/ described as a Holocaust scholar, reportedly made the comparison “in an effort to show students that the 2016 election is a reflection of the past.” Or as was also suggested, Navarro had made the comparison to show that “history repeats itself.” Which is Does when the truth is not learned from.

What’s happening is that people need jobs,, so the idea of Americans speaking out rightfully about what’s happening in their country are turned into potential “terrorists” because “adults” need to feed off the up and coming.

The next group of protestors came from Queens over one of the bridges and were prevented from joining the first group. They were penned in at 58th and 5th.

‘Ron’, a Trump supporter passing by started saying the protestors were “Paid”. When asked by a protestor who they were being paid by, the Trump supporter started telling the protestors they were “Betraying their Country”, telling them to “stand Behind their Country”.

One female protestor told him, “We Love you” and ‘Ron’ replied, “You know what? I Love you” and then hugged over the NYPD barricade.

After the embrace ‘Ron’ said to the protestors, “It’s our country, it’s out country then started talking about the use of ‘buzz words; misogynistic, anti LGBTQ, it’s just a buzzword”, Ron said. The protestor who embraced ‘Ron’ told him,, although it was difficult to hear over the chanting, “Love Trumps Hate”,, that she had met Trump and that “He’s not a normal man”, to which ‘Ron’ replied, “Everyone can be a Shit Head”.

This protestor told ‘Ron’ “make things better, act on Love and that’s why we’re here, that’s why I’m here, make the right decision, Act on Love” then Ron gave her a big hug. After the embrace the protestor said, “Don’t act on Hate and misogyny”.

Then the two ‘Ron’s”got into a debate. The Trump supporter Ron and the Non Trump supporter ‘Ron’. “I VOTED FOR HILLARY CLINTON, WHO I DESPISE, BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO LIVE IN A POLICE STATE”. Non Trump ‘Ron’ wants guarantees that Albany has Federal control in the states. I want the state to have oversight of every Federal government official”. “States Rights”, said Trump supporter ‘Ron’. “THAT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN UNDER TRUMP”, replied protestor ‘Ron’.
