In spite of only being nine years old, Eileen B has set her sights on taking the entertainment business by storm. As a singer, actress and dancer it makes this little girl hailing from New York a triple threat. Her latest effort is a dance song titled “Wine Up”. It’s only burning up the radio airwaves, but it’s also being enjoyed on dance floors in clubs across America.
The diminutive Ms. B teamed up with Latino record producer Jay Productivo and the two recorded the Caribbean flavored “Wine Up” during the end of this past summer. Written by Productivo, it launched a dance craze that has kids across America grinding their hips as they sing along to the lyrics of the catchy chorus.
“So let your waist go-oh, and move your body around
Or wine it slo-oh-oh, till your body hits the ground
Cause you and I, will dance through the night
While the music plays, everybody wine, wine, wine”
As if that wasn’t enough, the two put together a music video for the tune. Nearly 200,000 viewers have watched it on Youtube alone since its mid-August debut. Pretty impressive feat when you don’t even have a major record label to help you out. “Wine Up” is currently in heavy rotation on radio and network TV performances are booked for this multi-talented ingénue. I, for one, can’t wait to hear what she does next. So keep your eye on this youngster, because I’m betting she’ll be full of surprises in the not too distant future.
