Trinidadian born rapper MAYJA Money explodes on the Hip Hop music scene with his debut club banger “Hustler”. Rap Addicts are sure to want more of what this young new talent is serving up. Lyrically he’s a creative genius; his metaphors are reminiscent of KRS-One, NAZ and Jay Z. This kid is dope! Clubs all across America are starting to discover him in a MAYJA way.
“Hustler” the first song off his CD album “The Odyssey”; is just a taste of what he does with rhythms and lyrics. Rap music for this generation is the new blues; everybody loves the pain and joy of the music that tells a story as it is. MAYJA has seen and knows the rhythm of pain; and was able to escape the traps of it. He moved to the U.S. while still in his early teens. Relocating to New Jersey, he eventually earned a full scholarship to attend Keane University where he was awarded All American for both academic and athletic achievements. During the course of his studies at Keane, MAYJA set up a small recording studio in his dorm room. In the process of laying down tracks in his tiny home studio he patiently honed his skills as both a performer and composer.
The best way to describe his style of music is (Hip Hop Fusion). On this current release, “Hustler”, MAYJA joins forces with DJ Future to create a smoky club banger and uses metaphors that equates the process of pushing puff-able products on the streets, to making it in the music biz. Here’s a sample of his lyrics:

MAYJA’s track and lyrics on this cut fits as tight as a boxer’s glove. The 808 like; heavy bass hits you right in the chest, as you ride on the throbbing syncopation of the rhythmic percussion. The lyrics capture your imagination as if you were a part of a 3D movie; as he tells a tale of an up and coming Hustler gifted with stealth and swagger. The horns add a perfect spicy zest, a la Flava in Yo Ear.
