If you could travel back in time to around 1996 and visit a young angry Eminem before he hit it big what type of individual would you expect to see?
My guess, is that you would see someone as passionate and driven as Joshie Choe who is currently in the beginning stages of building a name for herself by delivering her own brand of “shock and awe” Hip-Hop.
I first became aware of this new artist when I noticed the following The Saint Valentine’s Day post on my Facebook feed (and yes, I do actually read those).
“My music video Ninja Dick is live… It’s been called the most racist, vulgar and phallic “love” song of all time.”
So of course I had to check it out and after watching the video I needed to find out who was behind this highly controversial creation which then led me to the following description/interests for the artist responsible.
“I’m the most educated and misogynistic lyricist and rapper in America.”
Interests include: verbal seduction, fantasy violence and spiritual promiscuity
That did it! I had to find out more about Joshie Choe immediately and scheduled her for a video interview so that I could share with you Hip-Hop’s next dark aggressive poetic rapper whose songs remind me of the early days of Eminem, Geto Boys and Lil’ Kim.
A word of warning though… her music is not for the squeamish. So don’t blame me if you get offended!
