I was sucked into the trailer when it was showing a perfect England life until a nuclear bomb went off and this girl had to make it home.

What I didn’t know this American brat would be such a bitch about it. She gets sent to suburbia England because it seems like she couldn’t stand living at home with her dad, even change her name so she wouldn’t have anything to do with him. She arrives at her cousin’s house who are a bunch of simpleton English folk who live a simple life. Of course the American girl being the bitch she is can’t stand them and can’t stand how everything is old and dirty. Meanwhile her cousins are just trying to make her feel at home and I feel bad for them because she is acting so damn rude!!!

The movie in the beginning is a bit happy happy joy joy minus the girl ruining all the fun and such. Her aunt? was stressed out with peace talks with this unknown group, and flies off to Switzerland. Then it happens while they are all out having a lovely picnic in the country side, the animals of course hear it first and go running to the hills and then the humans just get hit by a wave of air and it starts snowing… ashes.

The movie made up terrorists just nuked London and they lived just far enough not to be destroyed but still feel the shock wave. Of course their natural reaction is to run back to the house and find out what happened because they pretty much living without electricity and whatever they have on them. And since the girl is American the embassy rushes to get her out of suburbia England giving her a plane ticket to get the hell out, but the girl is like no no I wanna stay here with my cousins which is kinda bad since she was in love with the oldest one. So haha she is screwed since martial law is placed on England and the military comes to separate the boys from the girls, boys become soldiers and girls work in the labor camps.

The stupid main girl and her little cousin then attempt to run away from the labor camp which gets attacked by these terrorists (they purposely left them nameless and pretty much faceless because in our world everyone is overly sensitive lately) and you follow them on their journey to make it back to wherever they lived before! The main girl doesn’t allow her little cousin to have any slack forcing her to march the whole way back even tho she is sore and tired, but in her mind she just wanna see the cousin she is in love with.

It’s a pretty decent post nuked England movie but its pretty scary and feels too close to home about how this could possibly happen for real since everyone is nuke happy and not thinking of the consequences that it will cause to the innocent people how have nothing to do with leaders who just think about their ideals and no one else’s.
