I was very fortunate to get an early screening of Need For Speed! Being a fan of the video game back in the day I was excited for the release of this movie and to put the cherry on top it would star Aaron Paul better known from his previous role as Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. What a great debut role now into mainstream movies now. And Aaron Paul did a damn fine job in doing it, I want to see him in more movies!
Let’s say Need for Speed can leave Fast and Furious in dust because this movie is about cars, sexy, hot racing cars, noises included, crazy realistic stunts, flying stunts and it still had its family together ness and evil plotting villains in form of a douchebag who thought his money would win him everything.
The movie keeps you on the edge of your seat with the intense car races and car chases and Kid Cudi being the fun comic relief as the eyes in the sky and the numerous airplanes and helicopters he mostly few (which assistance of course from a pro which he explained in the screening QA) your heart felt like it was going to pop out of your chest all the time.
One thing everyone did notice every other character but Aaron Paul himself said bitch which is funny because though out the whole movie your just waiting for him to say it! According to Aaron he actually did say it but it was so quick you weren’t sure if he did actually!
Need For (more) Speed I hope this movie will have more to come! Maybe in Need for Speed 2 should have a special appearance with Bryan Cranston… well it would be nice just saying…
