Jackie Evancho Returns To America’s Got Talent For Season Finale

Jackie Evancho, the 11-year-old singer that landed the runner-up spot on the fifth season of “America’s Got Talent,” made her triumphant return to the show Wednesday night, again performing the aria “Nessun Dorma.”

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. was announced as the winner of the sixth season on Wednesday’s season finale. Murphy took home the $1 million prize and now has a stint headlining a Las Vegas show at Caesar’s Palace Casino and Resort with other finalists from this season.

Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle and LeAnn Rimes were also featured performers on the season finale.

Evancho was the highlight of the night for many as the Pittsburgh tween, who became the best-selling debut artist of 2010, nailed her performance with the intensity of an opera star twice her age.

Evancho’s latest album “Dream With Me” went straight to No. 1 on the charts.
