“Ladies and Gentleman I am here to teach you how to poison people, without killing them of course.”

This unlikely statement was the first thing Melvin Kirschner, M.D. heard from his pharmacology professor at the University of Southern California. Now with almost 50 years experience, Kirschner’s medical practice has repeatedly validated all medicines are poison.

Citing the dangers of mercury and iodine as examples, Kirschner explains how some medicines can be beneficial in one setting and deadly in another. In his new book, All Medicines are Poison! “The government needs to have better oversight of the  pharmaceutical industry. Too many manufacturer’s extol the value of drugs while masking the side effects. Patients need to have all the information available to compare the risks and benefits of taking a medication,” stresses Kirschner. “When it comes to medicine, sometimes the best course of action is to take no action.”
