MARIE DIGBY ANNOUNCES TOUR DATES IN SUPPPORT OF HER NEW ALBUM “BREATHING UNDERWATER”

Los Angeles – Fresh off the heels of her sold out residency at Los Angeles hotspot, Hotel Café, Hollywood Records recording artist, Marié Digby is gearing up for her national tour. The talented singer-songwriter, who has attracted more than 75 million views on YouTube, will be on the road to promote her album Breathing Underwater. These special shows will be a combination of new material as well as fan favorites from her debut album, Unfold.

People Magazine gave Digby’s Breathing Underwater a 3 star review, noting that “The singer-songwriter scores with breezy mid-tempos like the blissful title tune.” Marie Claire described the lead single “Avalanche” as a “…roll-your-windows-down sing-along treat.” The single was included in a ten-week promo spot for ABC Family’s Lincoln Heights, the album’s title track was featured on ABC Family’s Greek  and  MTV’s The City  and “Love with A Stranger” was recently featured on 90210.  Marié was one of three select artists to be featured as a Nordstrom’s “Band Highlight” during the month of October and AMC featured Marié in their All Star Summer program.

In November, Marié will join artists such as All American Rejects, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, among others, as a featured artist in McDonalds’ new M Channel. Marié’s single and video for “Avalanche” will be featured in a rotating playlist in over 800 restaurants nationwide. In addition, Marie’s “Say It Again” video, from her debut album Unfold, will be a part of the launch of Samsung’s new ‘Behold II’ cell phone which will be exclusive to T-Mobile. The video will be pre-loaded onto 1 million phones and will also be on featured on all display and demo phones in T-Mobile locations.

Marié first hit the national stage last year when a series of homemade videos of her performing, highlighted by an acoustic cover of Rihanna’s “Umbrella” made her a YouTube phenom (to date the “Umbrella” video alone has garnered more than 12 million views). Her debut album, Unfold, debuted at number 29 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, number 2 on the iTunes album chart, number 3 on Billboard’s Digital Top 100 album chart and launched a successful string of film and television placements for her songs including ER, Greek, The Hills, One Tree Hill, and Smallville.
