Progressive Radio Network Debuts, Creating Freedom of Speech Platform for Progressive Politics
NEW YORK, NEW YORK – The Progressive Radio Network (PRN) announces the launch of their new grassroots radio network. The progressive talk-radio network is the brainchild of Gary Null, a health activist and author of over 70 books. Null has teamed up with a long list of talented and outspoken free-thinkers who will deliver shows that cover a wide variety of topics. The shows are all completely ad- and commercial-free, as well as being censorship-free, allowing the talk show hosts to really delve into progressive topics.
“This is the type of freedom of speech that people are seeking,” explains Null. “Not just people who consider themselves progressive, but all those who are free-thinkers and don’t want the conversation stifled by limitations placed on them by media censorship, corporate sponsors and the like.”
An impressive list of well-known individuals within the progressive movement have joined Gary Null in the hosting line-up, including Dr. Steve Barnett, Danny Schechter, Beth Greer, Jim Turner, Ellen Kamhi and Dr. Henry Grayson. The network is quickly catching on as a great outlet for progressive thinkers, especially those seeking freedom of speech in the media. A variety of topics will be regularly featured, including shows that focus on activism, current affairs and news, health and wellness, environment, vegetarianism, autism, and more. Among others, regularly scheduled shows include:
· Wake-Up Call
· Of Consuming Interest
· Natural Living
· What Women Must Know
· The Super Natural Mom
· It’s All About Food
· Animal Magnet Pet Radio
· Progressive Radio Hour
(more)
The mission of PRN is to help combat media censorship and to provide a platform for discussing issues within the progressive movement.
“We have dubbed the network ‘the thinking person’s forum,’” adds Null. “It really is fitting because we provide a forum where people can discuss issues that matter in today’s world. Grassroots radio is really where it’s at, if you want to avoid media censorship and corporate sponsorship.”
