Campaigning for mayor of NYC

Donning a vibrant blue suit and a white preacher’s collar, Reverend Billy Talen shared his green vision for the future of NYC and high hopes that New Yorkers will soon “wake up” and hear what he has been preaching in his Church of Stop Shopping and the city streets for more than a decade. Gentrification, economic diversity, and ecological practices are just some of the issues the “Rev” wants to challenge his main opponent Bloomberg with head-on. Running on the Green Party’s ticket, the preacher calls for change -not the gradual kind, the Reverend Billy kind: changellujah!
