Too bad global warming is a massive hoax. Ever hear that absurd commericial “if you had to choose between an elephant and a flower – what would you choose”.

Well, thankfully ** I ** dont choose. God does. But these enviroWHACKS dont believe in God. They think HUMANS are the top-level intelligence.

who cares? As long as we are too busy worrying about a national monument of rather than the threat of global warming, nothing will get done.
If we continue on this path, there won’t be anyone around to enjoy the monument that everyone is so worried about.

I have a hard time believing that these people have my best interest at heart. That they will tress pass on public lands and deface a national monument is the ultimate in selfishness. They need to find a better and way to state their dissent. This sort of in-your-face action is NOT going to make me want to be sympathetic to their cause. It just angers me and I will never be on their side. There is a cost to us all to undo all of this. To take them of the mountain to take their stupid banner down without damaging the monument. That is so selfish it boggles the imagination. I do hope that the Federal Parks Department will charge them to the full extent of the law. To sue their organization to recover the cost of the people for their stupidity. It almost orders on terrorism. There could have been a better way for them to state other than anger the people.

Hey, from what I read, they didn’t damage any property, so I haven’t any problem with what they did up there.

And honestly, all of those who are carved into that mountain side were leaders. Washington led the Constitutional Army through the Revolutionary War giving birth to this nation, Roosevelt led the U.S. out of the Great Depression and through W.W.I.I, and now, Green Peace is asking for leaders in the effort to curb our pollution…and your bashing them. They’re trying to make the world a better place for your children. Perhaps you should watch the Earth Share ad with the little girl lying on her bed being shown nightmares of the modern age?! It strikes a nerve.

I agree. These people have no respect for anything other than their petty beliefs. They should spend time behind bars for doing this and charged the cost of taking it down. Green Peace and PETA are two groups that the world could do without.

Green Peace let me give you some advice, DO NOT cross my path!!! To put your ideas on or near one of the greatest monuments our country. Do you have no respect for the men that is carved into the side of that mountain? All you care about is yourself. How much did that banner cost you? With the economy the way it is you could have taken that money and helped a family that is in need or multiple families.

Why wasnt anyone arrested for this defacing of a National Monument, If Native Americans did this in protest of poverty on the Reservations and poor health care, they would have all gotten huge prison terms.
